The Fresno BeeJuly 12, 2014

The Fresno County Mental Health Board will meet Wednesday to evaluate and discuss two local programs provided by the Department of Behavioral Health.

The children's crisis assessment, intervention and resolution program provides 24-hour crisis intervention services designed to help mentally ill children in times of need. Supervised overnight stay offers a place for mentally ill people to stay for the night if they do not need hospitalization. Both programs will be discussed in detail, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Blue Sky Wellness Center, 1617 E. Saginaw Ave., in Fresno. For more information, call (559) 600-9193.
