Dorothy 'Dot 'Dryden August 1, 1918 - November 22, 2007 Dorothy 'Dot 'Dryden, 89, of Atwater; passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 22, 2007 in a Merced hospital. She was born August 1, 1918 in Bell, California; to Charles and Ethel Greenamyer and is preceded in death by her husband, Don Dryden of Stevinson, in 1979. Services will be held Saturday December 8th at 1:00 P.M. at the Mariposa Funeral Chapel, 4918 Bullion in Mariposa. Pastor Gary Martin with The First Southern Baptist Church in Winton, will be officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Mariposa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Elida Rodriguez September 2, 1983 - November 23, 2007 Elida Rodriguez was born September 2, 1983 in Merced, California and passed away November 23, 2007 in Garden Grove, California at the age of 24 years. Elida was a resident of Merced her entire life and graduated from Merced High School. She was a very outgoing person and loved to dance. She loved children and enjoyed getting dressed up and driving around. Elida is survived by her mother, Maria Rodriguez of Atwater; father, Ricardo Rodriguez of Dos Palos; brother, Ricardo Rodriguez of Atwater; sisters, Lara Acosta of Merced and Latcia Coahuilas of Atwater; stepbrother, Joe Manuel Rodriguez, stepsisters, Roxanne and Monique Rodriguez and many relatives from San Antonio Texas. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. Ð 7:00 p.m. with a Recitation of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Merced. Burial will follow at Merced District Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
