Around Town: Habitat for Humanity

The Habitat for Humanity will host its annual meeting with a potluck tonight at 5:30 at the Hoffmeister Center, 19th and Canal streets. Names A through J are encouraged to bring a main dish, K-Q a dessert and R-Z a salad or side dish.

The Soroptimist International of Atwater will host its annual Holiday Affair today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 760 E. Bellevue Road. There will be crafts, vendors, lunch and a raffle.

'King Lear' auditions

Holiday parade Merced will host its annual holiday parade on Dec. 5 down Main Street, from G Street to N Street. There will also be a dedication of the fountain at Bob Hart Square to Susie Rossi from 1 to 3 p.m. and many more activities.
