Around Town: Easter Services

St. Paul Lutheran Church will host special services for Easter.

Everyone is invited to attend: A Good Friday worship service will be held at 7 p.m. today and Easter Sunday services will be held at 6:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

Good Friday supper

Club Mercedes will host its annual Good Friday supper at the club.

The club lounge will open at 4 p.m. with dinner being served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. No early-bird diners please. Cost is $10 for two chile rellenos, rice, beans and tortilla. Dine-in or take-out.

Proceeds to benefit Club Sponsorship Donations.

Easter egg hunt

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced invites all children 10 years and under to the 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt at Applegate Park starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Bring 4-year-olds at 10 a.m. on the tennis courts, 5- to 7-year-olds at 10:20 a.m. next to the tennis courts and 8- to 10-year-olds at the skate park.

Kiddieland amusement rides will open at 10:30 a.m.

LIVINGSTON

Easter egg hunt

The Livingston Recreation Department along with the Livingston High School Key Club is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Livingston Sports Complex on Walnut Avenue.

The hunt is free and is open to boys and girls, ages 2 to 10. Jump houses, food and pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available for a small fee. Plus there will be a raffle for an Easter basket.

Eyes of Faith

Calvary Temple Worship Center will present Eyes of Faith on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. Sunday, 2740 N. Highway 99.

COULTERVILLE

Pancake breakfast

The NMCHC pancake breakfast will fall on Easter from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Coulterville's Old Schoolhouse.

Bring the entire family, enjoy breakfast, $5 for adults, $3 for children or $15 for a family of four.

The Coulterville Community Club's free Annual Easter Egg Hunt is at the Coulterville Park at 11 a.m. A single golden egg will be hidden with a certificate inside redeemable for the giant Easter rabbit. For information, call (209) 878-3015.

Christian Life Center will hold a very special Easter service titled "The Rock."

This exciting message with inspiring music will take place at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday at 650 E. Olive Ave.

Easter sunrise

Christ Church of Chowchilla will host an Easter Sunrise Celebration at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at Authier Pond.

The Jubilee Covenant Singers will perform and complimentary coffee and cinnamon rolls will be served.

Merced First Assembly will have Easter services at 9, 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday with an Easter Egg Hunt during the second service. Child care is provided.
