Rivera Middle School will have its annual Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $7. Activities include face painting, bobbing for apples, mini golf, bowling, Angry Birds, horseshoes and spin the wheel. There will be food and shaved ice available for purchase. Kiwanis Club breakfast
Kiwanis Club will have its anual pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. until noon Sunday in the Merced High School cafeteria. It’s a fundraiser for the youth programs the club sponsors and scholarships it provides. $7 for adults and $25 for a family of five. Call 209-383-9711.
