Women’s bible study

Merced Camera Club

Festival of Trees
LODI The Festival of Trees will be from 10a.m. to 4p.m. Dec.7 and Dec.8 at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum in Micke Grove Park, Lodi, with a senior preview Dec.6. Decorated trees, Santa Claus, musical entertainment, artisan craftsmen, children’s crafts, a train ride, museum exhibits, and food in Victorian tea room will be available with paid admission. Admission is $10; children 2-12 years old get in for $1. There is no cost for children younger than 2. Tickets may be purchased at the museum office. Christmas show at Gallo
MODESTO “Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis,” one of the nation’s most popular touring holiday shows, will take place at 4 and 7p.m. Dec.4 at the Gallo Center for the Arts. Tickets for the matinee can be purchased online at www.galloarts.com, by calling (209)338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I St., Modesto. Tickets range from $39 to $99.
Elks Lodge breakfast
The Elks Park Breakfast will be from 8 to 10:30a.m. on Wednesday at the Elks Lodge, 1910 M St. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children. The meal includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee and orange juice. Bloody Marys will be available.
‘A Christmas Carol’
FRESNO Good Company Players presents “A Christmas Carol” through Dec.22 at 2nd Space Theatre, 928 E. Olive Ave. in Fresno. Call (559)266-0660 or (800)371-4747. The box office opens Tuesday through Sunday at 10a.m. Shows are at 7:30p.m. Thursdays, 8p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $16, $15 for students and seniors.
