Yosemite Gateway Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star will have a gourmet breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon March 2 at the Merced Masonic Center, 1810 M St., Merced. The menu is scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, apricot crepes, cinnamon rolls and cranberry scones, juice, coffee, tea and milk. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ten and younger. VFW Hamburger Night

ATWATER St. Anthony Preschool, at 1801 Winton Way in Atwater is accepting enrollment for children 2 to 5 years old who are potty trained. The activities offered daily are designed to expand your child’s social skills, introduce religion and stimulate creative potential in a small, loving environment. Zumba fitness classes
LIVINGSTON Certified instructor Elsa Lopez teaches zumba fitness classes from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Walnut Child Development Center, 2600 Walnut in Livingston. High school scholarships
Central Valley Opportunity Center has six scholarships of $1,500 each for high school students in Madera, Merced and Stanislaus counties this year. Each will be awarded on a competitive basis. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution in the fall. Applications are available at all high schools in the three counties.
