The Rebekahs and the La Grange Odd Fellows have combined their efforts to serve a fundraising breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Odd Fellows Hall on Main Street. They will have a breakfast on the second Sunday of each month. Cost is $6. Breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, potatoes, French toast, eggs cooked to order, coffee and orange juice. Country and gospel concert
Christian Life Center will host Nashville-based Down Home in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at the center, 650 E. Olive Ave. The group performs a mix of country and gospel music. This is a free event, but an offering will taken.
Green Tour Open House
The Green Tour Open House will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the home of Jean Okuye at 10181 Olive Ave., Livingston. Learn about passive-solar heating, ventilation for cooling, solar optics and more.
The Sons of Thunder will hold the Bike Blessing on April 19 at Christian Life Center, 650 E. Olive Ave. Sign-in is 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. They will ride through the foothills to Henderson Park in Snelling. There will be a barbecue, live music and bike show with T-shirts and pins available for purchase. This is a free event. Scholarships for Atwater, Buhach students
The Atwater-Winton Lions Club will award two scholarships to qualified applicants from Atwater and Buhach Colony high schools to students who plan to obtain a degree in such vocations as nursing, dental technician, auto mechanics, computer technician, cosmetology, etc. The scholarships are $1,000 each and the deadline for applications is Tuesday. Alcohol and drug meeting
The city of Merced’s Advisory Board on Alcohol and Other Drug Problems will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at 1137 B St.
Photos with Easter Bunny
The Merced SPCA invites children, pets and adults to have a picture with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 19 at Walmart. Cost is $5. Raffle tickets, gift baskets, Easter baskets and snacks will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the SPCA’s no-kill shelter at 1021 E.
