'The Vagina Monologues' to be presented at UC Merced

The award-winning play “The Vagina Monologues” is scheduled to be performed at UC Merced 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the event’s Facebook page. Presented by UCM Violence Prevention and UCM Women’s Programs, “The Vagina Monologues” showcases the diverse experiences of women in a series of funny, tragic, poignant and moving pieces performed by members of the UC Merced community in an effort to foster community support for and among women, as well as the institutions that actively promote this cause.
All proceeds benefit the Valley Crisis Center and the 2014 V-Day Spotlight “One Billion Rising.”
Tickets are $7 for students and $10 general admission with group rates available. For more information, visit the event’s listing on Facebook.
