Buhach Music Crab Fundraiser
The Buhach Colony High School Music Boosters of Atwater hosts its 13th annual crab feed from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pavilion at the Merced County Fairgrounds, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way The event features the Buhach Colony Jazz Ensemble, a raffle, and a dessert auction. Merced Shakespearfest Auditions
Merced Shakespearefest is gearing up for its spring production of ‘The Taming of the Shrew.’ Auditions are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Merced Arts Center, 645 W. Main St., Merced. Atwater Rotary Lobster Fest
Atwater Rotary’s 14th annual Lobster Fest is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Atwater APC Hall, 1420 Third St., Atwater. Tickets are $50. The door prize is $1,000 in cash. Merced County Historical Society
The Merced County Historical Society holds its annual membership meeting at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Merced County Board of Supervisors Chambers. Society officers and board members will be installed and awards and grants will be presented. The keynote speaker will be Ron Genini of Fresno, author of California on the Edge of American History. Toy Show in Merced
The seventh annual Chaos Collectibles Toy Show Round-up takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Merced Elk’s Lodge, 1910 M St., Merced. Admission is $5. Early-bird time runs from 9 to 11 a.m. that day and the early admission price is $10. Vintage toys from as early as the 1920s will be on display.
