Lunden Souza: Still learning, still writing

I do not know everything there is to know about fitness.
I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to fitness, nutrition health and wellness. I am not the best trainer, writer or blogger out there either.
Sometimes I practice habits that are not beneficial toward my health. Sometimes I push myself harder than I should, other times I do not push myself hard at all. I am not about trying to be perfect, have the perfect body, be the perfect writer and be the perfect fitness inspiration.
I write, blog and train because I absolutely love people, fitness and health. I love spending every free moment I have learning new techniques, new workouts, new recipes, new research and sharing it with as many of my clients and followers as possible.
I do not make up what I say off the top of my head, nor am I the genius who did the study to find out the facts. I am simply driven and determined and will never stop looking for the answers to my health and fitness questions. I am fit for life.
I started writing for the Sun-Star roughly a year ago; it started with the article I wrote about my father on Father's Day. That article led to the Life Like Lunden biweekly article, and then it quickly became weekly.
Writing for the Sun-Star was my first writing job. Now I also write for three magazines, online publications and company newsletters -- all on health, fitness and wellness. The Sun-Star was my foundation and platform. I am not the best writer out there, but I continue to write every week because I love the people who read it in Merced as well as those out of the area that follow Life Like Lunden online.
The thing about my job is that it pertains to everyone. Every single person in the entire world should be physically active and maintain a healthy diet because that is the way that we were designed to thrive.
The good Lord gave me tons of energy, which I assume is the remnant of what he gave my mom. She is out-of-this-world motivated and energetic.
Perhaps that is why I am so passionate about fitness: Not only is it my job, but everybody can benefit from the information that I learn and share.
I am still very new in this fitness industry. By the time I die an old and healthy trainer and writer, I still will not know everything there is to know about fitness and health.
Every single day I will continue to try to be the best trainer, writer, blogger, and fitness inspiration out there because I know that I can. I am very thankful for all of the good and bad feedback I receive regularly and all of the questions I have received via e-mail.
Muhammad Ali said it best, "A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life."
I am so thankful for you, my readers, for asking questions, reading what I write and helping to shape who I am every week. I am excited to learn new lessons, attain more information and be the best I possibly can be at what I love the most -- being fit for life.
