LIVINGSTON Wine and cheese on tap

The Livingston Court Theater Committee will host its annual wine and cheese event on Sunday, April 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 1605 7th St. in Livingston.

The annual event is coordinated to raise funds for the renovation of the Court Theater. For more information, call (209) 394-8041.

Enjoy the Nuts

The City of Livingston is hosting a trip to the Modesto Nuts baseball game on Saturday, May 10 at 7:05 p.m.

The game will take place at the John Thurman Field, and tickets are $4.50 per person. The game will be the Nuts against Lake Elsinore.

The Modesto Nuts support breast cancer awareness and will have their game jerseys up for auction. Tickets can be purchased at Livingston City Hall, and should be purchased by May 2.

Tour the weight room

If you are currently in 8th grade and are interested in playing freshman football this year (fall of 2008), the Quarterback Club and Livingston High School Wolf Pack football would like to invite you to tour the Field House/Weight Room at Livingston High School on Friday at 7 p.m.

Barbecued hot dogs will be provided and Livingston High School coaching staff, as well as players, will be on hand to answer questions.
