Suspects rob Merced farmworkers at home

Farmworkers in a Merced home were victims of a home invasion Saturday.

Merced police responded to a robbery at 10:34 p.m. at 601 Canal St. The suspects went to the victim's door and asked for one of the residents by name. When one of the residents opened the door, three suspects rushed inside the home.

The suspects, armed with a knife and a shotgun, took money, cell phones and other personal property. No arrests were made. No one was injured. No further information was provided.
