A Merced man was arrested on suspicion of being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition, sales and cultivation of marijuana, police officials reported Saturday.
The Merced Police Department Gang Suppression Unit “developed information” that Lo Saetern, 41, was selling marijuana in his residence on Belize Court, police officials said. Officers obtained a search warrant and found around 100 marijuana plants growing in Saetern’s backyard, police said in a news release.
Police said 5 pounds of processed marijuana packaged for sale was found inside the residence, along with more than 800 rounds of ammunition for a small-caliber weapon and various 12-gauge shotgun shells.
Saetern was booked into the Merced County jail on suspicion of possession and cultivation of marijuana for sale, and being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition, police said.
