The Merced County Fair said that Saturday, June 5, is the day to bring exhibits to the fairgrounds at 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The deadline to submit most fair entry forms has already passed.
One of the fair’s highlights for many fairgoers is the chance to see their arts, crafts, hobbies and other talents displayed at the annual event. “Wetlands, Water and Wildlife” is the theme of the 119th fair. The fair is Tuesday, June 15 through Sunday, June 20.
There are a few exceptions, but most exhibits must be received June 5. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for divisions including crafts and hobbies, clothing and textiles, preserved foods, fine arts and photography.
For more information about exceptions, call the fair office at (209) 722-1507, check the exhibitors' handbook or refer to the handbook online at the fair's website www.MercedCountyFair.com
