The Erickson Family said it would sponsor two photography workshops Aug. 7 and 14 that will let photographers get close to working cowboys as they move horses and rope cattle in the high country near Yosemite National Park.
Participants will spend their time learning from professional photographers and observing some of the West’s last working cowboys and cowgirls in the Sierra mountains, according to a news release.
The fee is $250 for each participant, and the deadline for registration is July 19. Organizers said the workshop is for all level of photographers.Professional photographers Al Golub and Rebecca Harvey will be available throughout the day help participants. Golub, a Nikon specialist, has more than 50 years of photography experience as an award-winning photojournalist, art photographer, Kodak field tester and digital imaging instructor. http://www.golubphoto.com
