A woman who police say disguised herself as a man and robbed a Merced bank was arrested on suspicion of robbery after being identified by witnesses.
Pamela Brown, 45, of Merced, was booked into Merced County Jail after an officer saw her driving and a witness confirmed her identity. Police say Brown dressed herself in men's clothing and walked into the Union Bank inside the Save Mart at 150 W. Olive Ave. around 10:15 a.m. on Friday. She then passed a note to the teller saying she had a gun and wanted money. Nobody saw a gun and nobody was injured during the robbery.
