Sievert & Associates said Virginia Morris, an award-winning journalist and nationally recognized authority on elder care, will be featured at a free informational presentation at UC Merced Saturday, Oct. 1.
The 9 a.m. to noon event at the Lakireddy Auditorium is hosted by Seivert & Associates, which has Ameriprise Financial Services offices in Merced and Turlock.

It also has received reviews from AARP ("Indispensable!"), the Chicago Tribune ( "One of the most insightful books on this subject") and ABC World News ("The Bible of eldercare" - ABC World News), according to a news release from Sievert.
Topics she will cover at her Merced program include talking with your parents well in advance about legal, financial, housing, medical and end-of-life decisions; what to do when your parent won't do what you know is right for them; preparing for your own old age.
