MARIPOSA — A 176-hour course to be certified as an emergency medical technician is scheduled to begin Jan. 4 and continue through April 28 in Mariposa.
The class will meet every Wednesday evening as well as all day every other Saturday and will result in national and state certification.
The course fee is $350 plus the cost of the textbook. Healthcare Provider CPR certification is a prerequisite and will be offered Jan. 7.
Continuing education credits are available for currently certified EMTs in four- and eight-hour blocks.
