Children's performer Cal Skyhawk Haynes will perform Native American dances and storytelling on Saturday, Nov. 12, to celebrate Native American History Month at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center.
Cal Skyhawk has performed at schools and special events throughout california for more than 15 years. His colorful and energetic performances are designed to enrapture children and adults alike as he weaves Native American dance and storytelling into a program that encourages the values of self confidence, acceptance, and responsibility.
The performance is part of the arts center’s 2nd Saturdays lineup, which exposes children between the ages of 3 and 8 to live performing arts. Events are held at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month during the school year.
