Merced firefighters to hold pancake breakfast Saturday

The Merced City Fire Association Local 1479 will hold their 23rd Annual Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Station 55, located at 3520 N. Parsons Ave.
All proceeds from the event will benefit local youth sports, according to a press release.
The event will include bounce houses, fire trucks, fire station tours and more. At the event, firefighters will also be selling special "Heroes Wear Pink" T-shirts to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds from sales of the
T-shirts will go toward the Mercy Medical Center Merced Foundation.
The cost for the pancake breakfast is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under.
