No injuries were reported Sunday in a shooting in the 2900 block of Secretariat Drive, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at 7:13 p.m. after receiving a call of shots fired. The victim told police he was near his front door when he saw a black or Latino male wearing a dark-colored plaid sweater, sitting on a beach cruiser-style bicycle about a half a block away under a street light, according to Lt. Sam Joseph.
The male on the bicycle then pulled out a handgun and fired two shots at the victim. The shooter fled the scene on the bicycle in a southbound direction.
Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the shooter. Officers were also unable to find any bullet strikes or shell casings at the scene. No additional witnesses were present, according to police.

Police said although the victim isn't a gang member, the building where the alleged incident happened is said to be a known gang hangout.
