Atwater man, 20, faces charges of hit-and-run

A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of causing a hit-and-run crash in the city. He is accused of crashing into a tree and fleeing the scene, police reported Tuesday. Seth Shelton was taken into custody not long after police responded to the 800 block of Olive Avenue near Winton Way at 6:30 p.m., according to Lt. Sam Joseph.
