Chamber names leaders

The Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 77th annual Installation Dinner on Friday at the Gateway Gardens in downtown Merced.
During the event, chamber members installed their 2013-14 executive officers. Shawn Dwyer of Leap/Carpenter/Kemps Insurance was installed as the new chairman of the board. David Melin of Service Master Cleaning and Restoration was named past chairman of the board. Tom Leach of Mid Valley IT was named vice chairman. Bernadette Mello of Merced County Food Bank was installed as the officer in charge of the chamber's community relations. Richard Dye of Pacific Gas & Electric was installed as the officer in charge of the chamber's government relations.
