Merced SPCA meeting

“Christmas Classics and Carols,” the annual holiday production by the Merced College Chorale, will air on KYOS (1480 AM) at 8 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. It replaces the program “Community Conversations,” which takes its holiday break. The hourlong concert will feature Christmas classics that were performed live earlier this month.
Celebrate the new year
Celebrate with the Twi’ Lighters from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. New Year’s Eve at the Merced American Legion Hall, 939 W. Main St. Music to be played will include Latin, country, salsa and old-school. NYE dance with Force ’em
Club Mercedes will hold a New Year’s Eve dance from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday at 569 W. Ninth St. The Fresno band Force ’em will play. ACE Overcomers class
Struggles with depression, anxiety or anger might be a lingering response to a difficult childhood. ACE Overcomers is a program that helps people cope with such effects.
