A clear sky and warm weather brought out people around the region who were looking for a chance to get outside and enjoy themselves.

After several days filled with dark storm clouds, some on-and-off rain showers and lower temperatures, conditions improved dramatically this week. With the return of sunny days, temperatures climbed into the 70s by midweek and are expected to keep rising.

In fact, the forecast is calling for highs in the 80s by Sunday – if not sooner – and peaking at 86 degrees Monday before dipping again.

There’s no sign of rain until the end of the month, according to the forecast.
