Merced American Legion dinner

The American Legion will hold its annual corned beef and cabbage dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and 4 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 939 W. Main St. Tickets are $10 per person. The meal is corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and a roll. Take-out meals are available. Proceeds will benefit veterans. Email for more information.

Small business workshop

“Exporting 101, Training for Small Business” workshop will be 1:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Merced College Business Resource Center, 3600 M St. Free parking in the garage next to the center. Businesses will learn how to start exporting or expand their exporting. Traditional holiday dinner

The American Legion Post 668 will serve its traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the American Legion Hall, 11305 Ballico Ave. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the door.

Garden Show bus trip

Le Grand Community Garden Club will take a bus trip to the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show on Wednesday. Cost is $40, which includes coffee, snacks, bus ride and a ticket to the show. Call Sandy Del Real at (209) 389-4576 or email to reserve a seat.

Sunday Social Dance

The Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will hold its annual membership meeting and elections at 7 p.m. April 7 at First Baptist Church, 500 Buena Vista Drive.
