Fabric sale for church

A Merced Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals adoption event scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Petco in Atwater has been canceled.

La Grange Rodeo

The La Grange Rodeo will start at 8 a.m. Sunday at the La Grange Rodeo Arena, 30433 Yosemite Blvd. There will be roping, bareback riding and more. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for kids 6 to 12. Children 5 and under get in free. Advance sale of tickets is $12 for adults and $8 kids. Fall prevention health fair

The Merced County Area Agency on Aging, with the Regenerations Wellness Cancer Foundation, will hold a “Keep Your Balance” Fall Prevention Health Fair from 9 to 11:30 a.m. April 16 at 851 W. 23rd St. This is a free event and topics will also include medication management, vision, home safety and more.
