Pictures with the Easter bunny
The Merced SPCA invites children, pets and adults to take a picture with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Walmart in Merced. The cost for pictures is $5, and there will be raffle tickets, gift baskets, Easter baskets and snacks available to purchase. All proceeds will benefit the SPCA’s no-kill shelter at 1021 E. CASA holding fundraiser
CASA of Merced will hold its annual FUNraiser at 6 p.m. on May 10 at the Merced County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Rockin’ for CASA will feature dinner, sock hop music, and live and silent auctions. Tickets are $50 per person. The Merced County Rescue Mission will host its Oasis Benefit Dinner at 6 p.m. May 16 at Gateway Community Church, 353 E. Kiwanis Child Safety Day
