Johnny Rocket and the Thrust performs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center, 645 W. Main St. Tickets are $12 for members or in advance, and $15 at the door. For more information, visit www.artsmerced.org.

The annual Bobcat Art Show is on display through May 7. The show features works by UC Merced students, faculty and staff. There are 52 entries covering a variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, digital media, sculpture and mixed media. The exhibit is being held simultaneously in the UC Merced Art Gallery in room 106 of the Social Sciences and Management Building, and on the second floor of the Kolligian Library.

The Merced Flea and Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the fairgrounds, 900 G St. EBT is accepted.

Flashback performs at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Valley Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2877 Atwater Blvd., Atwater. There are lots of vendors on site and EBT is accepted.

Monday

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Monday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Avenue, Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

Tuesday

Le Grand Certified Farmers Market runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on Washington Street and Le Grand Road, next to Pizza Factory.

Blues artist Keb’ Mo’ performs at 7:30 p.m. at Gallo Center for the Arts, 1000 I St., Modesto. For more information, visit www.galloarts.org.

Wednesday

Merced County Certified Farmers Market is every Wednesday at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Yosemite and Paulson avenues, Merced. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Avenue, Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

The R-Bar, 1603 V St., Merced, hosts 8-ball competition every Wednesday night. Sign-ups at 6 p.m., game starts at 7. Twenty players only, $5 buy-in.

Jam session from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Thursday

Friday

Club Mercedes Blues Bash , featuring Mike Hammar and the Nails; and Mother Teresa and the Sinners. Doors open at 6 p.m. Showtime is at 8. Tickets are $10 per person and you must be 21 years old or older to attend. A beverage bar and snack bar will be available at an extra cost. Club Mercedes is at 569 W.
