‘Best Little Whorehouse
in Texas’ on stage
The musical “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” is playing weekends through May 18 at Playhouse Merced.
Tickets are on sale for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $22 for adults, $20 seniors, $12 students and $10 children.

James Garner is scheduled to perform a tribute to Johnny Cash at 8 p.m. May 17 at the Merced Theatre. According to a press release, Garner and his band perform Cash’s music, combining it with historical accounts and personal anecdotes.
