Indoor soccer sign-ups

for 3- to 6-year-olds

Indoor soccer for 3- to 6-year-olds will start Saturday and run through Aug. 2. Cost is $35 for registration and $10 for a game T-shirt. Register at Aguilera’s Satellites, 1033 W. Main St., or call (209) 385-6298 for more information.

Pet owner workshop

The city of Livingston will host a Responsible Pet Ownership Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Livingston Council Chambers, 633 Main St. The topics will be animal-related Livingston Municipal Codes, proper care for pets, and questions and answers. Elks breakfast

The Elks will hold their breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 3600 Wardrobe Ave. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, OJ and coffee. Bloody marys and screwdrivers will also be available.

Merced Garden Club

The Merced Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. June 11 at the Fish and Game Building at Lake Yosemite. Guests are invited to play “Plant Bingo,” and there will be a potluck lunch. For more information, call (209) 617-8119.

Community blood drive

The Livingston/Delhi Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary will hold a community blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. June 12 at the hall, 1605 Seventh St. in Livingston. Shriners breakfast

The Merced-Mariposa Shrine Club will hold itsannual breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon June 14 at the Atwater Veteran’s Park at Buhach and Bellevue roads. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12. Children 6 and younger are free. Breakfast includes steak, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits, juice, coffee and fizzes. Winton chamber dinner

The Winton Chamber of Commerce will hold its yearly installation dinner for officers and directors at 5 p.m. June 16 at Brooks Ranch, 975 E. Bellevue Road. This is a no-host dinner. For more information, call (209) 600-5222.
