The Merced Senior Community Center will host the annual AARP Pit BBQ Picnic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25 at the center, 755 W. 15th St. Tickets are $5 for members and $7.50, nonmembers. The meal is brisket and pork loin, barbecued chicken, chili beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, roll and ice cream cone.
