In its 13th year, the Yosemite Music Festival rocked the foothills over the weekend at the Mariposa Fairground. The event featured 20 bands from all over California, including Merced’s Cottonwood Creek and Oakdale’s The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit. Adam Finney, event founder and organizer, estimated that more than 400 attended the two-day festival on Friday and Saturday. The festival also had hula-hooping and animal mask-making for children and families. Six local vendors, including Prospectors Brewing Co. and restaurant Mariposa 1850, provided food and drinks for festival-goers.
