Fun events at Kewl Kats

Arts Center exhibit

“Range: County Artists Across the Spectrum” runs from now through Sept. 19 at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center, at 645 W. Main St. in downtown Merced. The exhibit includes works by Natalie Porter, CHAA, the Enrichment Center and the 2014 Curator’s Award winners. For more information, visit artsmerced.org.

‘Hot August Nights’

“Hot August Nights,” a female illusion and variety show, is scheduled for Aug. 9 at the Merced Women’s Clubhouse, 707 W. 22nd St. in Merced. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. $15 entry fee, $10 with student ID.

Live music at Star Club

Live music happens at the Star Club from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. today and Saturday, 1331 W. Main St., Merced. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 to enter.

Star Club jam session

A jam session is scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced.

Foreverland in Merced

Foreverland, a 14-piece tribute band dedicated to the music of Michael Jackson, is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Merced Theatre, 301 W. Main St. Tickets went on sale Tuesday.
