Merced County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking three men in a home invasion robbery reported Sunday morning in the Livingston area.
The incident was reported around 7:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Lincold Boulevard, according to Deputy Tom MacKenzie.
The robbers went to the home and asked one of the occupants for someone at the residence. The occupant, however, told the robbers he was unfamiliar with the person they were looking for and had never heard of him.
The men left, but returned 10 minutes later with metal pipes. The suspects beat a 55-year-old man and a 67-year-old man at the home. The robbers left the scene in a Ford F-150 truck belonging to one of the victims. MacKenzie said the keys to the truck had been left in the ignition.
Both victims suffered a cut to the head.
Few details are available about the robbers. They are described as three white male adults. Two of the robbers were bald, while the third robber wore his hair slicked back. One of the bald men had a beard.
Deputies are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call (209) 385-7472. Calls are kept confidential and you can remain anonymous.
