The streets of Atwater and Livingston sparkled Friday evening as the cities' residents gathered to celebrate the holidays with their annual parades.

There were a few dozen entries in Atwater’s parade, which was sponsored and organized by the Atwater Chamber of Commerce.

In the Livingston parade, Santiago Alvarez sported lovely branches as a Christmas tree.

Guadalupe Jasmin Jimenez, left, and Abigail Morales, both 3, got into the theme of the Livingston event, which was 'Picture Perfect Christmas.'

Santa Claus brings up the rear of the Livingston parade, which had a theme of 'Victorian Christmas Stories,' in an antique firetruck.
