A 20-year-old Los Banos man was sentenced to jail time and ordered to pay restitution after pleading guilty to several acts of vandalism, the Merced County District Attorney's Office said this week.
Sebastian Sanchez was sentenced Friday to 120 days in jail, three years of felony probation and 200 hours of community service by Merced County Superior Court Judge David Moranda, the district attorney's office said on Tuesday.
He was charged with four felony acts of vandalism and two misdemeanors in January, prosecutors said.
A 911 caller who is a garbage truck driver told dispatchers a tagger was spray painting graffiti at Meadowland Park II at 10:17 a.m. Jan. 17, according to Los Banos police.

A Los Banos officer responded and found Sanchez, police said. A search warrant served at Sanchez's home in the 800 block of La Mesa Lane uncovered evidence linking him to several other acts of vandalism, according to investigators.
He's said to have done around $2,200 in damage, according to the district attorney's office.
