Yosemite National Park is seeking proposals for operation of a medical clinic at Yosemite Valley. The park's current 15-year contract with Tenet Healthcare and Doctors Medical Center of Modesto will expire in December.
"Doctors Medical Center has been an excellent provider of medical service to Yosemite National Park, and has contributed in a very significant way to the health and well-being of Yosemite visitors and employees for well over a decade," said Marty Neilson, Yosemite's chief of business and revenue management, in a press release. "The existing contract will expire at the end of the year, and we look forward to receiving offers from medical providers who are interested in serving the continuing need for medical service in the park."
The prospectus is available online at http://www.npsconcessions.gov, and more information can be found at http://www.fbo.gov. For information, call project manager Darby Watson at (510) 817-1365.
