Outstanding graduates (measured by their gpa at the adult school campus): Two students earned a 4.0, one student earned between 3.75 and 3.99, and six students scored between 3.5 to 3.74. One GED student scored over 3,500 points on the 4,000-point exam.

Cutest sign/gift: A homemade sign with different color markers. It read, "You did it! We are so proud of you mom!"

What they said: "Anyone out there that does not have a diploma or GED, if I can do it -- a woman with three children who doesn't speak English -- you can do it," Xiong said.
"I did it becuse I am a mother and I need to set an example and I did it for myself," Hubbard said.
Scholarships: Two students, $800 total
Other accomplishments: For the first time, one of the graduates -- Yee Xiong -- completed the entire 180-credit diploma program after progressing through all of the school's English as a Second Language (ESL) and Adult Basic Education levels.
