A dairy worker in the Hilmar area was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday, according to the Merced County Sheriff's Department. The victim was working at a dairy near Johnson Avenue and Columbus Road when a man walked up and pointed a gun at his face. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet and phone, then smashed his car windows to steal the stereo and compact discs. The suspect left in a small black sedan. The suspect is described as 5-foot-6 and 135 pounds. He was wearing a baseball hat, black shirt and pants, the Sheriff's Department said.
