A job review between Modesto City Schools' head of business and the school district's attorney is on hold. Debbe Bailey was admitted to a Modesto hospital June 2, the day after she was told her evaluation would be made public once she reviewed it with the attorney. Bailey, the district's deputy superintendent of business services, was placed on paid administrative leave in April. Bailey left the hospital June 3 after heart and blood pressure tests, but she said her doctor advised against any stress for at least two weeks. Trustees said they want to wrap up the Bailey case as soon as possible.
