TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Info: Tickets are on sale for the 2009 Stanislaus County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo. The rodeo benefits the sheriff's mounted unit. Tickets can be bought from any posse member. DUI/DRIVERS LICENSE CHECKPOINT
When: Friday night
Info: The Turlock Police Department will be conducting sobriety/driver's license checkpoints. Pamphlets will be distributed to drivers as they pass through the checkpoint. Drivers suspected of driving under the influence will be arrested. Drivers will be required to present their driver's license and seat belt compliance will be checked. The purpose is to increase public awareness regarding the threat caused by intoxicated drivers and to reduce the impact of drivers who have had their licenses suspended or revoked.
