A north Modesto baked goods store Monday was robbed at gunpoint for the second time in four weeks, police said.
No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported. Modesto police spokesman Sgt. Brian Findlen said investigators believe the robberies were not the work of the same person, and there was no indication they are linked.
Monday's robbery occurred about 4:45 p.m. at the Oroweat-Entenmann's store at 3025 McHenry Ave., just north of Rumble Road.
Police described the robber as a black man in his early 20s, weighing about 140 pounds and standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall. The robber was wearing a black mask, a black shirt, black jeans and black shoes.

Findlen said the robber walked into the store carrying a handgun and demanded cash from the employees and about 10 customers. He said the robber left with cash. Officers searched the area but did not find a suspect.
The store also was robbed May 17. That robber walked into the business about 1:15 p.m. and left with cash from the store and jewelry from customers. Police described last month's robber as a white man about 35 years old with a stocky build. Police said the robber wore a black mask that covered part of his face.
