Authorities say more gunshots have been fired at motorists in the Sierra foothills town of Valley Springs, where attacks have been reported for the past month.
Calaveras County sheriff's Sgt. Dave Seawell said residents reported three or four shots late Wednesday along Highway 26. No one was injured and there were no reports of damage.
Seawell said Thursday that investigators are not sure if the gunfire is linked to other drive-by shootings that have struck 15 vehicles and homes since mid-December. Several bullets narrowly missed motorists.
Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information in the case.
