American Red Cross, Stanislaus chapter — Donate online at www.stanredcross.org or send checks (designate either for "Haiti") to 1230 Sixth St., Modesto 95354. You can donate $10 to the national organization by texting "Haiti" to 90999 (amount added to your next phone bill).
Free international disaster training: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 23 at the office. Call 523-6451.

The Salvation Army — Donate online at www.salvationarmy.org (click on Haiti Earthquake Relief button) or by phone at 800-SAL-ARMY, or mail to The Salvation Army World Service Office, International Disaster Relief Fund, P.O. Box 630728, Baltimore 21263-0728. Designate donations "Haiti Earthquake."

Samaritan's Purse — The international organization run by Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, is often first on the scene of disasters. For information, including donating online, visit www.samaritanspurse.org.
World Concern — Visit www.worldconcern.org for information about the organization's relief efforts in Haiti and to donate.
Queen Bean Coffee House, 1126 14th St., Modesto — Tip jar for this weekend's shows, The Refuzniks from 7-10 p.m. today or Lonny Jones from 8-10 p.m. Saturday, will be donated to the Red Cross effort. Donate cash or checks made out to the Red Cross with "Haiti relief" on the memo line.
