MENTAL HEALTH SEMINAR

INFO: The Empowerment Center will host "In Our Own Voice," a presentation by the National Alliance on Mental Illness. There will be personal stories of those who are in recovery from mental illness and the journeys of family members. The presentation is free and open to anyone over age 18. PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT

INFO: Us-Too, a prostate cancer support group for men, meets the fourth Monday of each month. Marla Nawrocki, a dietitian for Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, will speak about reading nutritional labels. After the presentation, there will be small-group interaction. LEAGUE 'LUNCH & LEARN'

INFO: Mary Sherwood, coordinator of the Stanislaus County Medical Reserve Corps, will speak at the League of Women Voters "Lunch & Learn" event.
