Modesto Junior College will hold two financial aid workshops.
Financial Aid Night, for all current and prospective college students, will be Tuesday and Cash for College Night, for high school seniors and recent high school graduates, will be Feb. 23.
Both events will be held at 6 p.m. in Sierra Hall 132 on MJC's West Campus, located at 2201 Blue Gum Ave.
The workshops are free and open to the public. No advance registration is necessary.
The workshops will offer an overview of the application process including a step by step review of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid with pointers for successful completion of the form.
Financial aid technicians will be available to answer specific questions at the conclusion of each presentation.
Also, high school students at the workshop will have a chance to win a Cash for College Scholarship of $1,000.
