A man robbed the Umpqua Bank branch on Olive Avenue in Turlock on Tuesday afternoon, running away with money.
According to Turlock police Sgt. Nino Amirfar, the man entered the bank at 400 E. Olive Ave. at 2:55 p.m. He approached a teller, said he was robbing the bank and demanded money.
The suspect was described as white, late 40s to 60 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 150 to 180 pounds. His hair was described as dirty blond to gray and he had a gray mustache. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and dark jeans.
