Turlock officers arrested a man and woman and placed an infant in protective custody after finding more than 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine in a home in the 1300 block of Myrtle Street on Friday, according to a news release. Turlock resident Rodolfo Olivera, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, resisting arrest and child endangerment. The infant's mother, Melissa Mary Brooks, 25, was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine for sale and child endangerment, according to the release. Members of the department's Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search a search warrant at the home Friday. A man fled out the back of the house but was caught. The infant's mother came home during the search. The 5-month-old baby was sleeping in a crib.
